Staff Profile: Joanna Pasha

Joanna Pasha

Year 5 Class Teacher (5EC)

After gaining a BA Hons with a specialism in Maths from the University of York in the UK, Joanna began her teaching career in Wallsend in the north east of England. 

Following this, Joanna pursued her passion for travel, living and working in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and most recently here in Singapore. She has experience teaching throughout the primary years, from EYFS to Year 6. Joanna has taken on various middle leader roles, including coordinating Science, Math and phonics as well as leading Year 1. With a specialism in primary Maths, she particularly enjoys teaching this area of the curriculum and instilling her love of Mathematics in her students.  Joanna is passionate about helping children of all abilities to develop into confident, caring and successful members of the school community.

Outside of school, Joanna is kept busy with her three children and has interests including reading, baking and yoga. She loves to explore different areas in South East Asia and has particularly enjoyed travelling to Japan where she learnt to ski. 

Joanna is delighted to be working at DCIS and is looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
