Kirstie Robertson

Year 5 Class Teacher (5KR)

Kirstie earned her degree in International Politics and French at Aberystwyth University. She completed her PGCE at Nottingham Trent University.

During a year abroad on Corsica, Kirstie worked at two French schools as an English teacher and this confirmed her love of teaching and working with children. Kirstie went on to complete her PGCE at Nottingham Trent University.

Kirstie has worked at a primary school in Grantham, UK, for two years, where she led Modern Foreign Languages and taught across both Key Stages.

She began her international teaching career at the British School Warsaw, Poland. At TBS Warsaw, Kirstie taught both Year 2 and Year 5 and led the Student Council, helping raise money for charity and facilitating the children to improve the school for themselves. Kirstie’s goal is that all children in her classroom are happy, motivated learners who love to challenge themselves and each other.

Outside of school, Kirstie loves keeping fit, travelling and finding new books to read. She loves to play team sports and is quite competitive! Kirstie is keen to travel more of Asia and experience different cultures, people and places. Singapore is the perfect place to teach and travel!
