What Our Students Say

Comments from students on why they love about DCIS and their favourite activities.

  • What Our Students Say

"I love music lessons in the Music Tech room, it is a completely different way of learning, we are currently studying how music affects emotions and mood, using the technology in the Tech Room means that we can either work by ourselves or as a team with the flick of a switch!"

"We love having this space to play in at lunch time. We play with our friends, we play football and we make things. We made photo frames using twigs and leaves and we make paint, it is mainly brown colour! We also use the soil to make clay and do pottery, last term we even made our own pottery business that ran at lunchtimes."
Year 4

"My favourite aspect of Dover Court is the strength of the teachers. In every classroom, the teachers manage to create a welcoming environment where anybody can ask questions. At any point during a lesson, students don’t have to feel that they’re disrupting the class; they know that they’ll be supported."
