On Wednesday, nine children from Year 3 went on a visit to Thien Phuoc orphanage as part of their community project. The purpose of the visit was to provide the children from TX with an opportunity to interact and play with the children from Thien Phuoc in their home environment. Some of the children from Thien Phuoc had already been to play at TX so the children from TX quickly found some familiar faces. The children enjoyed playing together with the toys at Thien Phuoc and some fun resources that we brought over from TX like playdough and balloons! The children from TX were excited to see that they also had a soft play room at Thien Phuoc and they enjoyed playing in there with their new friends. It was a pleasure to see our Year 3 children playing so gently and patiently with the other children – they were a real credit to our school.
