Term 3 MFL Lessons

13 May 2016

¡Hola! Bonjour! Ni Hao!

We are almost coming to the end of the year in MFL!

In French F3, year 1 and year 2 students have been learning the colours. They have all had fun playing vocabulary games and colouring in French paint by numbers. In year 5, they have been creating their own criminals whether it is a person, animal, robot, etc and describing them on a wanted poster.

In Spanish, year 5 students have progressed from their cooking skills to creating their own drinks and snacks menu, and doing example role-plays in a café. Next year, hopefully we can encourage the students to run their own Spanish café as a one off event.

In Chinese, year 5 and year 6 have been making Tangrams, there are 7 pieces to the tangram and they use them to create one of the following animals: rabbit, goose, squirrel, dog, cat, fish, bird, and crocodile.

Although the year is coming to an end, we hope you all continue to use your languages over the summer holiday ready for the start of the new term!
