Last Sunday at 3.30am where were you? Most likely tucked up in bed! Not the case for some of the BIS HCMC family!
In the early hours of the morning thousands of runners descended upon District 7 where HCMC – The City Marathon was about to begin. There were four different events to compete in; the 5km, 10km, Half Marathon and Marathon.
The run took all the competitors around District 7, where due to a recent storm there was flooding across parts of the course. If traversing dark flooded roads wasn’t enough to contend with then runners had to climb up the long, steep Cau Phu My Bridge too!
Congratulations and a massive well done to all those who ran.
