U14 Boys Volleyball vs ISHCMC - Match Report 03/04/2018

11 April 2018

Kai provides all the highlights from the U14 boys volleyball match against ISHCMC.

  • U14 Boys Volleyball
Coaches Player: Kai Segal
Next match: Thursday 12th April vs SSIS at home

After a training session and us fixing some of our mistakes that we made in the last game, we were ready for a tougher match against ISHCMC. Again, the girls played first and managed to get their second win of the season. As we played there were a lot of silly mistakes and not enough movement. We were a little bit overwhelmed by their height and control of the ball and lost the first set 25-17. After a motivational speech from our coach, we were ready to play another set. We started off well getting in points from our serves and the other team making silly mistakes. After a few silly mistakes of our own, we were going neck and neck in the final 5-6 points. We had just won the point to make it 24-22 and, unluckily, lost the point due to lack of movement.

Coaches player: Captain Kai Segal played every point and is beginning to have a deeper understanding of his position, setter.
