Junior Sports Day 2019 The results are in! How did our junior school atheletes fare on the track and field? Find out more!

Sports day is a superb opportunity for the students to work their hardest to achieve their best result possible in a competitive environment. This year we had sports day run over 4 days with each year group competing in a different day to earn points for their house.

This year we had sports day run over 4 days with each year group competing in a different day to earn points for their house.

The competitors had to run, jump and throw their way to victory through a series of competitive athletic events. On the track the students competed in a sprinting race and then one of the longer distance runs, ranging from the 1 lap to the 4 laps race! In the field, the students battled it out in throwing and jumping events.

At the British International School Ho Chi Minh City we support a traditional sports day to give students the opportunity the compete against each other. Sports day is a superb opportunity for the students to work their hardest to achieve their best result possible in a competitive environment. Regardless of final positions, it has been excellent to see every student trying their best. We also love to recognise students competing well in the spirit of the games with effort ribbons. Days like this allow students to develop key components such as coordination and strength, alongside soft skills such as communication and teamwork. Well done to all the students for giving it their all on the day!

After each event points were allocated. We have now added all of the points and can declare the winners from each year group and the final house winner.
