It was a humbling experience, the special thing for me was not to break the record but to see everyone come and congratulate me at the finish line. It made me realise how much of a special community our school really is. Matt McKelvie, Year 13

Speaking about his new 100m record Matt McKelvie (Y13) said “It was a humbling experience, the special thing for me was not to break the record but to see everyone come and congratulate me at the finish line. It made me realise how much of a special community our school really is.”

A huge congratulations and thanks to every student, teacher, TA, guard and member of staff from the Secondary Campus. Whether you competed, measured, timed, made sandwiches or set up the equipment you played your part in a very special day and contributed to a fantastic atmosphere.

The overall results will be announced in assembly on Friday. Make sure you are there to find out which house came out on top.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
