'It's not Rocket Science' - F3 Celebrate with their End of Year show

One of the Prime Areas of our EYFS curriculum is Self Confidence and Self Awareness, so at this point, at the end of the Early Years phase, it was a great celebration this week, to showcase the growth in confidence of our F3 children as they performed our end of year show to parents; boldly standing on stage, using microphones and confidently remembering and speaking their lines.

A spaceman came travelling and crash landed on the Early Years campus roof! So began the show, 'It’s not Rocket Science'. It was a truly spectacular sight to see our F3 children take to the stage this week to perform for a full house on stage in the gym.

From start to finish is was a superb team effort; it was great fun to create the script around our class identities and characters; Mr Rhys, Ms Maria and classes had great fun 'jamming' in music lessons to come up with lyrics and actions; children worked with our fantastic Teaching Assistants to create their own costumes; Ms Fiona ably stepped in as narrator to help bring the tale together; Ms Rachel put together all the various clips of children space-hopping around the school into excellent videos and all the dances and songs truly reflected our teachers' personalities.

Well done to everyone involved and the biggest round of applause to our confident, able and fabulous children.

Ms Maria Shooter, F3 Leader
