Physical Development is one of the prime areas in the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum that we work on in F1. It is vital for children's holistic development as it focuses on children's fine and gross motor skills and development of their self-care skills. During our Physical Development sessions, we strive to challenge children to use their whole bodies when engaging in activities in the Sports Hall. We encourage lots of jumping, kicking, balancing, throwing, crawling, climbing, skipping and dancing. We also ensure that our classrooms offer an array of fine motor activities that develop their hand and finger muscles which will later help in writing, fastening clothings and grasping small objects.
The F1 team would like to express their thanks to all the adults who joined us and supported this wonderful event. We are extremely proud of all the children and how they showcased their confidence and strength throughout. A big well done to all our F1 children!
