Before teaching, I worked in logistics, within different industries - shipping and publishing. However, I have always loved learning new things and it was studying for a second degree, in psychology, that inspired me to become a teacher. I found the work on child development fascinating and wanted to know more. Now I can't imagine any other career.

Eileen returned to BIS in August 2015 following a year travelling and trekking with her husband. Prior to this she had taught in Year 6 at BIS for four years and was the Science Leader at An Phu Primary. Eileen has extensive teaching experience in Bangkok, Thailand as well as in the UK.
In her spare time, Eileen enjoys reading, painting and practising yoga.
