Staff Profile: Deborah Spencer

I moved to HCMC, with my two sons, in 2014  from Saudi Arabia. We are loving the new challenges and exciting adventures we are experiencing here and look forward to many more.We feel very lucky to be able to work and live in such a vibrant city.

PGCE Primary with QTS (Leeds Metropolitan University) LLB (Hons) (Leeds Metropolitan University)

After completing a law degree, Deborah worked in a school in Malawi for 3 years prior to completing her PGCE in the UK.  She worked in the UK for 3 years in KS2 before moving to Alexandria, Egypt where she taught Year 5, supply from YN to Y6 and coordinated English. Deborah then moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where she taught in a number of year groups and was Year 3 coordinator for 5 years.  Deborah enjoys many activities outside of school, including scuba diving, skiing, cake decorating and reading, and her two boys keep her busy and on her toes!
