Deputy Head Teacher, Early Years and Infant Campus

Having a strong belief in the importance of "Excellence in Education", BIS is a perfect match for me.  All aspects of school life are carefully considered and planned and as a result of this, our students are the epitome of excellence.  I am proud to be part of the ambitious learning community of BIS.

BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS, UK

(MA) Masters in Education (Leadership and Management)

Being passionate about teaching and learning Mary began her career in 2003, graduating from Sheffield Hallam University.  Her first post was at a Midlands, UK Primary School where she was Sports Coordinator.  After two dedicated years, Mary moved to an International post in South Korea teaching in the Early Years, soon progressing to Early Years Leader.  After a number of years Mary returned to the UK where she was responsible for an Early Years and Key Stage One Department.  Dedicated to International teaching, Mary returned to South Korea as an Early Years specialist where she took the role of Deputy Head, Head of Early Years Centre and gained her Masters in Education.

Mary is a sports enthusiast, competing in road races as well as triathlons and training to complete an ironman in the near future.  Mary is wife to James, a Football Coach.
