Music Teacher / Music Subject Leader

Music has always been a big part of my life and I am delighted to have the opportunity to share my love of music with children and develop their creativity and passion for music.

BA (Hons) in Music, University of Nottingham

PGCE (Primary), University College of St Martin, Ambleside

 Jonathan enjoyed the opportunity of being a class teacher for many years, teaching Years 1 to 6 in Suffolk and at The British School, Kathmandu in Nepal. For the last few years he has been a specialist Music teacher in Kathmandu teaching Music from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 3. He has been involved with many concerts, productions and inter-school music festivals featuring children of all ages. Jonathan plays the flute and piano and enjoys opportunities to perform in instrumental groups and sing with (or conduct) choirs. He also enjoys reading, trekking and playing tennis and cricket.
