Staff Profile: Nesta Lanyon-Jones

Nesta Lanyon Jones_English Teacher

English Teacher / Community Service Coordinator

After being taught by a number of inspirational English teachers at school, I studied English Literature and History at university. I have always loved reading and analysing texts, so I decided to become an English teacher to share my enjoyment of texts with my students.

BA (Hons) English Literature and History, Liverpool John Moores University, England

Nesta joined BIS in August 2011 from Vietnam Australia International School in Ho Chi Minh City. Prior to this she had taught English Language and Literature at Estover Community College in Plymouth for two years. In her free time Nesta likes reading, watching films and going to the theatre. She particularly enjoys experiencing different cultures through travel and she finds living and working in Vietnam fascinating.
