Antony Lishak visits our school

16 January 2014

It was with great excitement, this week, that Years 4-7 welcomed a Professional author to our weekly Primary assembly.

Antony Lishak had all students roaring with laughter as he described his experiences as a Dad, teacher, and mostly as a published author.  Both teachers and students alike were impressed and inspired by Antony’s newest project, Stars, a book about two friends who experienced WWII in Warsaw while hiding out in the Warsaw Zoo.  Many students lined up after the presentation to meet Antony and to pick up a signed copy of his historical novel for children. We hope that Mr. Lishak enjoyed his time with us during our Primary assembly, and we feel privileged to have had the opportunity to welcome him to our school.
