Careers Day

16 October 2014

Today we hosted 32 guest speakers from our school community who took time out from their busy schedules to join our students and present about their current job roles and career journeys. The students had been very excited about this event all week as it provided a wonderful opportunity to gain insight into the working world beyond school. Students from the entire secondary school took part in a number of presentations, as well as online sessions and tutorials in order to make this day as informative for them as possible. They all had a wonderful time and learned a lot! We would like to thank all of our speakers for taking time out of their busy schedules to provide our students with this valuable experience. We sincerely hope that you will join us again next year!

We would sincerely like to thank one of our Careers Day speakers, Miss Ipek Aynuksa, Counsellor at the Embassy of Turkey, for her generous gift – a beautiful book of Turkish Polish relations. This will be a wonderful addition to our school library and enjoyed by our students and staff. Thank you ever so much.
