A remainder to all Year 13 students about  the Extended Essays that must be handed in on time and submitted to turnitin (Nov. 5th).  In addition to Extended Essays, there is still a lot of work ahead for Year 13 and no time to slow down.

On January 7th, the mock exams will begin and they will help the students to test their current knowledge in each IB subject.   On October 15th, a very successful Year 13 “Meet the Teachers” evening took place and provided parents with an opportunity of discussing their son’s/daughter’s current progress prior to the mock exams.

Congratulations to our Year 13 and Year 12 students who participated in Warsaw MUN at the National Stadium on October 16-18.  As seen in the photo, they all were good ambassadors of our school.  Special congratulations to Jasmina O’Shaughnessy and Samuel Durovcik for being receiving “The Best Delegate” award.

We also wish the best of luck to Year 12 students participating in MUN conferences in Istanbul and Wroclaw.   I would also like to thank Tadashi Matsumoto and Dominik Vuina for taking on the organization of MUN conference at TBS in the spring of 2015.  MUN is a well established programme which gives the students an opportunity to show their debating and leadership skills in a multicultural setting and hosting MUN each spring at TBS has now become a well known tradition.
