Careers Day

12 February 2014

On Saturday 1 March 2014 we are very excited to be holding our first ever Careers Day, open to all students and their parents from years 6 to 13.

The importance of educating and guiding our students in the process of making their career choices has been well documented. The opportunity to hold this event highlights our commitment at The British School, Warsaw to help our students be the best that they can be both in school and beyond by making informed choices impacting potential careers from the beginning of Secondary School.

The day itself will involve a combination of large and small presentations and we would like to take this opportunity to invite and encourage you, as a critical part of our school community, to contribute to its success. We are seeking members of the community who would be willing to join us for part of the day to give brief talks on their careers and the paths that have led them there.  The wealth of knowledge and information about your field of work would be invaluable to our students and, if you could spare about 30 minutes on Saturday 1 March, they would deeply appreciate the insight and advice you could share with them.

More information about this event and your role as a speaker is available from Mrs. Słoczyńska or Mrs Blanchard at isloczynska@thebritishschool.pl  or hblanchard@thebritishschool.pl   Please do not hesitate to get in touch and enable us to make this day as beneficial as possible for all of our students. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
