Beluga Whale has arrived!

Last year in June when Year 8MS were in Year 7, we decided to raise money to contribute to saving the Beluga Whale, a species on the verge of extinction, through the World Wildlife Fund.

  • Beluga 1

Our money goes towards schemes aimed at protecting the species and their habitats.

We are delighted to announce that through our contributions, we today received our certificate of the symbolic adoption of a Beluga Whale, some photographs of the animal and a toy Plush – which we decided to name Airbus – after the synonymously named Beluga aircraft.

It is quite heartwarming to know that our students were equally as happy to know that they have done their little bit as environmentally aware students of our international school.

They have taken one step towards making the future a little bit more secure for themselves and their fellow creatures of our planet Earth. Well done to Antoni, Mia, Bobby, Julianna, Ben, Sascha, Gabriel, Ester, Stas for all their efforts  - and to Ms. Miazga for dealing with the administration!

Please come to visit Airbus the Beluga Whale in the glass cabinet at the end of the corridor near L108.
