Year 5 Ancient Fun

On Tuesday, Year 5 welcomed in parents to celebrate the end of our unit ‘The Great, The Bold and The Brave’.

What an exciting time we had digging to uncover ancient coins hidden underneath the train, using a map of school to uncover the letters to crack the code and last but certainly not least running a marathon!

Working as a year group, groups of parents and children ran together to compete the overall distance of 42.2km. It was wonderful to see you many enthusiastic participants!

Thank you to all the Year 5 parents for your support during this event and donning your running shoes to help us complete TBS’s first ever marathon.
