IB and Pre IB Students Celebrate Polish Independence Day

In our Friday assembly, the IB students stood and sang the Polish Anthem and listened to a presentation prepared by the Polish Department about Poland and 100 Years of Independence.

IB Polish Independence Day

Mai and Marianna played the piano and flute to accompany the students and their rendition of the “Mazurek Dabrowskiego,” a very moving and touching scene listening to the IB and Pre IB students sing. Then the students listened carefully to learn about how Poland has risen from the ashes like a phoenix to both fight and struggle to survive in order to form this beautiful country we all call home right now.
