Under 14 Boys and Under 19 Girls Became Basketball District Champions

A huge congratulations to both our U14 boys and U19 girls who became Basketball District Champions last week!!!

  • U19 girls baskeball

The boys team were dominant throughout the tournament and despite being pushed close in the final, their effort and hard work saw them over the line. Stand out performances from Kamil S. and Maks C. set the team apart from the competition.

In contrast, the U19 girls have been underdogs throughout their campaign and the same was said for the final. The team were trailing for the vast majority of the match and at one stage of the game were down by 11 points. Only with 2 mins left did the team take the lead for the first time. Their tenacity and team spirt pulled them through a tense final few minutes to claim the title.

These are both amazing achievements from our young squad, and we are incredibly proud of all the hard work and effort put in by all the players. Both squads will now have the opportunity to compete in the Warsaw tournament in the new year.
