Library Blog

This week I would like to remind everyone about the upcoming PTA Book Week event – an evening of Wine and Words on the 8th March.

Flights book

This mini book club is for all staff and parents to come together and discuss the winner of the 2018 Man Booker International Prize – Flights by Polish author Olga Tokarczuk, translated by Jennifer Croft. Described in the Guardian as a "fascinating novel of fragments" and "a passionate and enchantingly discursive plea for meaningful connectedness", this unusual novel is the perfect pick for our PTA Book Club evening!

I would also like to once again remind parents about our new Scholastic Book Club. Go here to browse the latest books and order online. For every £1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 20p in Scholastic Rewards. Please place your order online by February 22nd, 2019.
