Tanzania Expedition on the Edge of Lake Natron

Our Year 12 and Pre-IB students are currently in Tanzania on the edge of Lake Natron, north-west of Arusha.

They have been off the grid for the past few days as they do not have internet access in this more remote part of the country. This eight-day expedition has taken the students to the savannas of the East African Rift Valley, immersing them in Masai culture in the Lake Natron conservation area of Tanzania. Overlooked by Ol Doinyo Lengai, they will discover the diverse and vibrant natural history of this area, significantly contributing to the community of Ngare Sero village while learning about sustainable development.

Check out next weeks newsletter to learn more about their great adventure.
