TBS in Warsaw Marathon and 10K races

On the 14 April, twelve TBS teachers decided to extend their run between classrooms and took part in the Warsaw Marathon and 10K races.

  • Marathon
  • Marathon 2

Ten teachers took part in the 10km and two did the lethal marathon.  All completed the run even with some personal best times.

The marathon runners Tom Robinson and Louis Fesrn completed the dreaded 42km in 3h52min(PB) and 4h15min respectively. The top 3 times for the 10K run were:  Ksawery Zielinski (47:47s),  Bas Kinhuis ( 48:25s) and third place showed exemplary marriage teamwork: Robert and Alyssa Prokic (58.41 together).

Other members of staff who took part:

William Walder, Olivia Sawday, Matt Lennon, Mark Stimpson, Matthew Griggs, Michael Hutchinson

We look forward to the race next year, hopefully with an even bigger group of teachers involved!
