Year 1: Brilliant Beegus bemoan blue planet

Year one reached the once unknown destination of the end of their brilliant book 'Beegu', this week.

It had started many week's ago when the strange yellow creature Beegu had crashed his spaceship at the Dabrowskeigo campus and hadn't been seen since.

His journey and tale began to unfold as we read the books that the alien life form had left to inform our students. This week the children used story maps, retold their story out loud and finally wrote masterfully in the first person as the often sad tale unravelled.

Now safely back with her family will we ever see this creature who touched our hearts again?
