English in Year 7

Year 7s have begun studying their very first thrilling unit in English: Gothic fiction.

  • s

Mrs Barańska's English class proved their artistic skills by creating their own gothic monsters, which they will then use as a character in their own gothic/horror narratives. Students have also had the chance to admire each other's creativity at a gothic exhibition held in the Y7 corridor towards the end of their English lesson. Housepoints go to Jagoda, Maria, Miki and Ola, whose drawings and annotations received the most 'stars' from their peers. Beware - future Edgar Allan Poes, Marry Shelleys and Bram Stokers might come out of this class!
