Haley Thomas

Haley Marcus

Assistant Head of Primary; Pre-Nursery (PK2) Teacher

My name is Haley Thomas, and I am looking forward teaching the Pre-Nursery again at BISW. I completed a degree in Early Childhood Education at the College of Charleston. Upon graduating, I moved to DC to work as a pre-kindergarten teacher.

Before moving back to Washington, I worked as a Year 2 teacher at The British School Warsaw. I am thrilled to be continuing my career in the Nord Anglia family of schools. As an educator, I value curiosity, creativity and collaboration. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging and meaningful. Aside from teaching, I have worked as a Division Head at a sleep-away camp in Northern Pennsylvania for the past 5 summers. I also have experience coaching primary gymnastics and cheerleading.

Outside of school I enjoy cooking, traveling and hiking. I look forward to all of the fun and learning we have ahead!
