JAMIE PERRIN

Hi my name is Mr. Perrin and I am the Summer School Coordinator this year, which means that I have to make sure that everyone has fun, but also learns a lot too!

I’ve been teaching now for nearly 18 years from Secondary to Primary to Nursery. I have been a teacher at several Summer Schools and also coordinated them in the UK, France and Belgium.

I am really looking forward to Summer School and an exciting three weeks whilst getting to know you all. What I really like doing is Scuba Diving, anything to do with the outdoors, sports and learning new languages – you can speak to me in English, French and Turkish as well as a tiny little bit of Russian and Thai!

EMILY GUMB

Hi I am Ms. Gumb, I have been living and working in Thailand since January 2011 and have been working as an ESL Teacher at Regents International School Pattaya since August 2012.  I originally come from London, England where I grew up and lived all my life until I came to Thailand.  I love living and teaching in Thailand, mainly because I love the weather, food and people but I also get to do my passion here which is fitness, especially yoga and Thai boxing!

I will be getting to share some of my passions whilst working on Regents Summer School as I will be teaching the yoga, dance and cross stitch sewing groups.

TONY LEMBO

Hi everyone, I am Mr. Lembo from Australia. This will be my third Summer School at the Regents and I am really excited to be doing it all over again this year. We have loads of enjoyable activities planned such as field trips, a treasure hunt, kite making, computer fun and enjoyable lessons to make your English even better.  I’m really looking to forward to teaching all of you. See you all soon.

LOUISE NEALON

Hi, I’m Ms. Nealon, originally from Kent in the South East of England. This will be my third summer school in Thailand and I’m really excited and looking forward to all the fun things we will be doing. I’m thrilled to be teaching English and delighted at all the great activities we will be enjoying, some of which will include cooking and creating delicious recipes. We will learn how to make our very own bubble wands and construct many different crafts including photo frames and mosaic pictures. In the afternoons we will enjoy swimming and outdoor games so lots of fun for everyone.

HELEN BALL

Sawasdee Ka, my name is Ms. Ball, I am 28 and I have been a member of the Regents family in varying roles since 2000. I am Year One classroom teacher at Regents and thoroughly enjoy working with younger children. I am really looking forward to summer school and an exciting three weeks with new children. Each week we will have a different theme to learn about and the first week is all about farms. We will be creating some incredible farm animal pictures in our arts and crafts sessions and will be reading all about animals on farms during our story time.

I look forward to meeting all the children and cannot wait to get started!

FIONA SMITH

Hello, I’m Ms. Smith and I work at Regents as a houseparent in the Junior Boys Boarding house and as a teacher in Early Years and Primary. This is my first year in Thailand and I am here with my husband Tim and my two daughters Becky and Jessie who are in Years’ Four and Three at Regents. I do Summer School most years and as my passion is horses I have done many Pony Club camps. I am a Forest School leader and enjoy outdoor activities using natural resources.

KEVIN HIGGINS

My name is Mr. Higgins and I will be working in the Pioneer group this year. I’ve worked in Summer Schools for the past 20 years so I will be putting that experience to good use. As a qualified tennis coach, I look forward to teaching tennis and other racquet sports. I can’t wait to get out on a boat to go yachting with my group and I’m also looking forward to wakeboarding; I’ve done it once before and it’s great fun - the children will love it. I also hope to organise plenty of football, teambuilding and ICT. This is my first summer School at Regents and I’m really looking forward to it.

ALEXANDER LINNE

My name is Mr. Linne. I am both an American and Swedish national, when I’m not teaching English with my RISE students here at Regents I’m teaching my two daughters English. The afternoon activities at summer school I specialise in are swimming lessons as  I was a competitive swimmer up to the age of 16, basketball; I played high school basketball and was the starting point guard my junior year at South Tahoe high in California and finally, Baseball I’m an American, so I need not say more - it’s our main sport!
