Virtual School Experience

Connecting our students to their classmates, teachers and unique global opportunities, we can deliver our curriculum in a highly personalised way both on and off campus.

At Nord Anglia International School Dublin we take pride in delivering an outstanding education to every student, tailored to their individual learning needs and inspired by the global best practice even in challenging circumstances.

For the times when our campus has to close, thanks to our safe and secure virtual school platform, we are ready and equipped to continue inspiring your child with innovative lessons, unique learning opportunities and high-quality teaching as part of our blended learning approach.

Our Virtual School Experience has two key aspects:

  • Connected time where students can learn from their teachers ‘live’ using our safe and secure online platform.
  • Guided time where pupils learn independently through tailored tasks set by their teacher.

Striking the right balance between on and offline learning time allows your child to make the most of personalised learning from home, no matter what year group they are in.

When it comes to our youngest minds, our early years virtual school combines learning techniques to ensure that your child receives a truly engaging educational experience. From developing important literacy skills through story time to refining motor skills with creative play, our virtual school delivers the same high-quality lessons your child receives in the classroom.

For our primary students, their virtual school experience builds on the foundations started in early years, with a continued focus on cognitive development and preparing them for the next steps in their education.

From learning new skills to refining existing knowledge, working towards exams and preparing for exciting next steps, our secondary school students benefit from a Virtual School Experience designed to give them the best foundation for the future. If your child is in an examination class, we make sure that our teachers also give personalised tutorial support and, where necessary, individualised programmes to maximise their opportunities for success.

Alongside academic excellence, your child’s wellbeing is always at the heart of everything we do. Our virtual school has been designed to meet every student’s social, emotional, creative, physical and cultural needs.

Global Campus

Our students of all ages can also access Global Campus, Nord Anglia’s bespoke online platform, which widens their learning experience beyond the classroom.

Students across the world can come together to support, learn and develop each other from their homes. Whether it’s collaborating remotely to create solutions to UNICEF’s Sustainable Development Goals, or engaging with experts from MIT and The Juilliard School, NAIS Dublin students can take part in unique activities and develop their problem-solving skills.

Global Campus also sets students a series of mini personal challenges that they can do, at any time, to demonstrate their skills to their friends around the globe. Challenges could be anything from entering Nord Anglia’s annual global art competition, to learning a new language, or virtually taking on Mount Kilimanjaro in the Virtual Kili Climb challenge.
