STA Songkran Celebrations 2023

STA Songkran Celebrations | St Andrews - STA Songkran Celebrations 2023

As you know, the Thai Department will hold a celebration of Songkran Festival, a traditional Thai New Year at the School on Wednesday 5th of April, the last day of the term in both the Primary and High School Campus. All Songkran activities will make a full return to both campuses after the relaxation of measures in Thailand during the COVID-19 situation.

This year we would like to give a big thank you to our Primary Thai Parents for supporting the Thai Department in this special event by organising the Songkran Fair. All Information and details can be found in the posters below.

There will also be various Songkran activities on our High School campus available to the STA community. See more details about the events in the posters that follow…

We will finish Term 2 with the fun water play in the afternoon and end with our Songkran Celebrations, including the Guard of Honour and farewell speeches for our Year 13 students. This is our traditional event to say goodbye, bless them and wish them luck with their IB examinations.

To celebrate this wonderful day, we hope that everyone wears bright and colourful Songkran shirts and join in on the activities for the full STA Songkran Experience!

Thank you for your continued support throughout Term 2. I hope everyone has a very enjoyable and not too wet Songkran holiday wherever you and your family will be spending time. I look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Thursday 20th April for the start of Term 3
