Having completed a Master’s degree in Physics and a Bachelor’s degree in Education in India, Lakshmi started working as a secondary school teacher and then moved to university teaching.
She has 12 years of teaching experience and started her international teaching career as a substitute teacher and progressed to IGCSE and IBDP teaching and Faculty leader for science in an international school in West Africa. Lakshmi has completed Category 1 and 3 professional development courses for the International baccalaureate. She recently did a course in “Visible Thinking” from Harvard Graduate school of Education. Her aim is to make physics and science enjoyable for students. She enjoys working with students from different cultural backgrounds and is experienced in EAL environments.
Lakshmi and her family are excited to be part of Regent’s International school and explore Thai culture.
