She began working as a certified teacher in 2016, where she was a Lead Teacher in Head Start and Early Head Start, which is a federally funded program for low-income families, teaching infants to 5 year olds.
In her years prior to being a qualified teacher, she gained 10 years experience working with young children in various positions such as tutoring, summer camp counselor, various day care settings, and family engagement and programming coordinator at a public library.
This is her third year being a part of the Regents community and she loves living in Thailand. Outside of school she enjoys being with her family, cuddling with her cat and dog, crafting and exploring the world.
