Mike Emeny


Year 3 EAL Teacher

Mike Emeny comes from the small town of Scunthorpe in the UK. Before moving to Thailand in August 2016 he worked in Beijing and Taipei, teaching English as an Additional Language to all ages of the Primary school.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities with Literature from the Open University (UK); a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham (UK) and TEFL qualifications that include the University of Cambridge and the Government of South Australia.

Mike loves to keep fit and for the last three years has been a keen Crossfit athlete. He also enjoys reading, watching TV & movies and at the weekend enjoys getting out to explore the local area. He is particularly keen to develop his diving experience and looks forward to being a part of the Regents diving group.

Mike moved to Pattaya with his wife (Sarah) who teaches in the Nursery section, and two daughters, Josie and Hannah.
