Michael Litchfield

Year 6 Teacher

Michael holds a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Design Technology and Production from the De Montfort University in Leicester (UK) and a PGCE in Primary Education from The University of Hertfordshire.

Michael started his career in architecture working at a small practice in north London, before moving to an AJ100 company in Canterbury. While in architecture, he worked on a variety of projects from bespoke extensions to multi-million pound redevelopment programs.

After deciding to pursue a more rewarding career, Michael led a team of counsellors at a summer camp in Michigan, USA - this confirmed his decision to begin working with children in education.

In 2014, Michael trained as primary class teacher at a large, diverse school just outside of London. While working at the same school, he has taught years five and six, as well as coordinating P.E. and leading several of the school’s sports teams to district and county finals.

Michael moved to Pattaya in 2017 and feels incredibly privileged to be a part of the Regents team.
