Rebecca Ainscough

Year 7.4 Form Tutor / Head of Humanities

Rebecca Ainscough holds a BA(Hons) in Theology and Applied Social Science from the University of Leeds, West Yorkshire (UK) and a PGCE from the University of Cambridge (Theology specialism). She has over 15 years of experience as a teacher and associate senior leader.

Her career began in the South of England, where after having completed her PGCE at Cambridge University, Rebecca continued to work in schools within the local area.

Rebecca then moved up to West Yorkshire where she continued to progress her career teaching humanities in a secondary school to young people aged 11-18. At the school Rebecca was promoted to Head of Department for Philosophy and Ethics. She has also worked her way up to be an associate senior leader for Business and Enterprise shortly before leaving the area to move to the North of England.

After teaching the Humanities in North Yorkshire, Rebecca arrived in Thailand in 2019 and feels very privileged to be part of the Regents team.

Outside of school she enjoys being with her family as well as reading and taking part in outdoor pursuits.
