Following on from where our successful Key Stage 1 ECA leaves off MAD Science have started working with Key Stage 2 to offer a BISCAP on Thursday nights from 3.30pm - 4.30pm.
Last term they introduced themselves with a bang (literally!) in the secondary auditorium and are now working closely with a smaller group of students to explore a variety of scientific ideas.
Arush (6S) joined up because of the cool demonstration and even though this is only week two has already investigated dinosaurs, created his own fossil, and started to see patterns in the periodic table.
"It's really interesting, and I've got to do something different each week. Last week I had to dig up the fossil the next day and now I can keep it at home".
Next term MAD Science will be offering a tailor-made course to prepare children for the Year 7 BISS Puxi Science curriculum and they look forward to seeing many budding scientists there.
