I began studying Marine and Natural History photography at Falmouth University in 2012. The subject of my degree is specific and unusual as well as being a topic quite personal to me. Exploring the world through a lens, large or small, enabled me to appreciate the world we have and the importance to preserve and protect it.
I continued my studies at Greenwich University, completing my PGCE in Primary Education. Since then, I have taught in South East London as a Year 3 and Year 6 teacher and Art and Design subject lead. My decision to join the team at BISS Puxi and move to Shanghai comes from my enthusiasm for teaching and exploring. I am excited to be a part of a driven and ambitious team.
I have always been an adventurous person; this seems to come across in most aspects of my life. I enjoy outdoor sports and am a keen surfer back in the UK. I hope to travel to some surf sports in this part of the world. I have also kept my passion for photography alive through my travels and aim to continue this in Shanghai, possibly sharing some skills with the children.
