Andrew graduated from Kings College London with a degree in Human Biology and then went on to complete a PGCE at The Institute of Education. After completion, he worked in a comprehensive school for two years in East London before moving to Liverpool to work in the city’s only grammar school, where he held a number of positions. During this time, he was involved in many projects, most notably several trips to South Africa, where IB students carried out ecological research projects. In the classroom, Andrew enjoys the academic challenges of studying Biology and encouraging students to play an active role in lessons, whilst also developing their independence. Andrew made the decision to move to BISS Puxi to experience an international school, and a different culture and way of life; all of which he is very much looking forward to exploring.Andrew graduated from Kings College London with a degree in Human Biology and then went on to complete a PGCE at The Institute of Education. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys being active and spends a lot of time with his friends and family. His two main passions are yoga and swimming, which he tries to practise most days. He finds these are great activities to relax the mind, whilst also staying in good physical shape. Andrew also enjoys being outdoors and is looking forward to being able to explore more of China over the coming years.
