A Historical Comic Strip

Year 8 students are studying Imperialism and answering the question‘ was the British Empire a force for good or evil’? Currently we are studying India and analysing different interpretations.

This homework was about the causes, events and consequences of the Indian Mutiny against the British. The cartoon strip was chosen as the method so students could access research and create an answer in a creative way. It will help them to consolidate their knowledge through images rather than just words.

Nina Pham (8B) has produced a colourful cartoon strip depicting the Indian Mutiny.
