With so many new students to the city it has been a really interesting introduction for both the students and teachers to learn more about where we live! To start our topic off, we went on a trip to the Martinelli building in centro. From the top of the sky scraper the children had a panoramic view of the city and were able to see how big it really is!The children used view finders to sketch parts of the city which will help them to design their own building for So Paulo later on in the term. They were also able to see the contrast of the sky scrapers and the mountains to learn more about how So Paulo has changed over time and what was here before the city.
