On April 18, coincidentally one day before Indian Day is celebrated here in Brazil,Year 6 went on a Field Trip to Toca da Raposa to meet a group of indians from theKuikuro tribe. It was also a great ending to the curricular interdisciplinary unit that was developedamong Brazilian Studies, Portuguese, and Art.At the site the pupils reflected on what does it mean to be an indian, watched sometypical dances and even took part in them; they also came into contact with thelovely crafts the Kuikuros had made, and learned a lot by visiting a museum thatwas rich with their Art, tools, and everyday objects.
The Nord Anglia STEAM Festival 2025 offers Year 9 and 10 students a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers on hands-on projects focused on sustainability and global challenges.
