In the recent times the role of Information and Communication can be looked at as a great example for connecting people in all aspects. This year at BCB apart from independent academic subject, ICT is also viewed as a “major tool for building knowledge societies” and, particularly, as a mechanism at the school education level that could provide a way to rethink and redesign the educational systems and processes, thus leading to quality education for all.
Having introduced our Year-7’s to ‘The magic of the Virtual World’, they have been enjoying the concept of using online applications to develop their logical and computational skills blended with Syntax independent learning.

Empowered by innovation and open learning environment it drives our students to enhance creativity, problem-solving, self-direction, collaboration, and other life skills. It was indeed remarkable to see these young talented people achieve the first level of coding certificates.
Year-9’s had an amazing journey in the field of web development by creating and publishing their very own websites through codes. These ambitious IT artists are proud of their work and see themselves display the attribute of ‘Thinkers’ and ‘Knowledgeable’ that is one of the IB profiles.
Moulding their own creativity and coming up with great different ideas, Year-10’s and 11’s are all geared up for their preparation for the IGCSE examination right from understanding the theory concepts of the latest technology developments to working on practical application tasks. The hard work and efforts put by the students is commendable.
