In this event, BCB's academic leaders will take you through the journey step by step, from Primary to IGCSE and the IB Diploma, explaining how each stage builds on the one before it.

- What will I learn at this event?
- You will discover how the different stages of a BCB education connect, from Primary through to IGCSE, the IB Diploma Programme and university. Our academic leaders and university guidance team will explain what students experience at each stage, while our students will share their own perspectives on the journey.
- Is this event relevant if my child is still in Primary?
- Yes. The event is designed for families considering BCB at different stages of their child’s education. You will learn how our Primary curriculum builds the foundations for later academic learning and independence, and how students transition into Secondary and the IGCSE pathway.
- Will I learn more about the IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes?
- Yes. We will explain how the IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme work, what students can expect from each stage and how the programmes prepare them for university and beyond.
- How does BCB prepare students for university?
University preparation goes beyond academic results. You will learn about our university guidance programme, academic writing and research support, university visits and fairs, work experience, service learning, extracurricular opportunities and wellbeing support. Together, these experiences help students understand their options and make informed decisions about what comes next.
- Will BCB students be part of the event?
- Yes. BCB students will join us to share their experiences of the school journey, including the challenges they have faced, the experiences that shaped them and how they approached decisions about university and their future.
- Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?
- Yes. The event will include an open Q&A with members of our academic and university guidance teams. You will also have an opportunity to speak informally with members of the BCB community after the event.
- Who is the event for, and how can I register?
- The event is for families considering an international education and looking to understand how BCB supports children at different stages of their education. Whether your child is in the Early Years, Primary or approaching Secondary, you are welcome to join us. To participate, simply register to the event.
