On the 26th and 27th of March, our students welcomed fellow students from schools in Hanoi and across the South-East Asia region to the inaugural BIS Hanoi Virtual Model United Nations (MUN) Conference.

It was fantastic to see, that despite the challenging circumstances, our students continue to make good progress and are showing continued resilience and perseverance.

We have come to the end of Term 2 of this academic year 2021/22.

As we head into the Easter break, as Secondary School, we wish you all the best for a wonderful holiday surrounded by family.

The university search and application process is an important focus at BIS Hanoi, and we use every tool at our disposal to help students find the right fit as supported by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP).

The research of Year 12 student Gia Han has been published in the Journal of Student Research (JOSR), a prestigious academic journal which showcases the work of school students, university graduates and postgraduates from around the world.

As the end of Term 2 approaches, we have some exciting activities going on across the Primary School.

I am delighted to share some further good news today. Our Year 8 to Year 13 students will now be allowed back to campus for full days from Monday 28th March onwards.

The most exciting update this week no doubt was the return of Years 8-13 to the school campus, amid improving conditions broadly in the city.

Sungwoo graduated from the British International School Hanoi with a phenomenal perfect score of 45 points in his IB Diploma and is now continuing his learning journey at Yonsei University, one of the top-ranked universities in Korea.

Students across Primary and Secondary have once again taken part in lots of exciting science challenges to celebrate Science Week this year.

What an exciting Science week it has been over the course of the week with investigations and experiments, inventions and activities.

Another full week in our Virtual School Experience. I hope you and your families are managing well despite the huge challenges we are all facing with the global pandemic.

There have been exciting opportunities to celebrate learning this week with International Pi Day as well as Science Week, which this year celebrated recent discoveries on Mars.
