A supportive community for academic excellence at BIS Hanoi
The success of our students is rooted in BIS Hanoi’s commitment to nurturing confident, capable learners. Our teachers play an important role in this success, offering personalised guidance, engaging lessons, and a supportive environment that encourages students to stretch their potential and aim high.
This collaborative approach equips students with strong conceptual understanding and effective revision strategies—skills that contribute not only to IGCSE success but also to their continued achievements in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
IGCSE at BIS Hanoi: Building strong foundations for the IBDP and BIS Diploma Programme
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the world’s most respected academic qualifications for students aged 14–16. At BIS Hanoi, the IGCSE programme is delivered through a personalised, inquiry‑based, and academically rigorous curriculum, preparing students for the demands of the IBDP and BIS Diploma Programme.

Our students continue to perform exceptionally across all subjects, consistently exceeding global averages. Tuong Anh, now in Year 12 and a top‑performing IGCSE student with a full suite of A–A* grades, reflected on the value of the programme: “The IGCSE really prepared me to be a critical thinker and to adapt to changes. It helped me analyse and evaluate information more effectively and manage challenges with confidence.”
She added: “Independence and organisation were the two things I practised most during IGCSE, and they are skills I will carry forward into IB and university.”
We extend our warmest congratulations to Dakyung and Ayoung for their extraordinary achievements. Their dedication, perseverance, and passion for learning inspire the entire BIS Hanoi community and reinforce our commitment to fostering academic excellence.
