Among the cohort's many accomplishments, two BIS students, Gia Khanh and Seojeong, achieved a perfect score of 45 points. This is a remarkable feat attained by less than 1% of IB students each year. In addition, around 1 in 7 students among the cohort earned 40 points or more, demonstrating exceptional performance across the graduating class.
The Class of 2026 also showcased impressive multilingual abilities, with 62.9 percent of students awarded the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma. This achievement reflects both the international nature of the BIS Hanoi community and students' ability to thrive across multiple languages and cultures.
Adding to this year's success, the cohort achieved the school's highest-ever average Core Points score of 1.92. Core Points are awarded through the IB Diploma Programme's Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Extended Essay (EE) components, which challenge students to think critically, conduct independent research and explore complex ideas beyond the classroom. With a maximum of three Core Points available, this record-breaking average highlights the strength of students' inquiry and analytical skills.
These results tell only part of the story. Behind every score is a student who has embraced challenges, pursued their interests and grown both academically and personally throughout their time at BIS Hanoi. They are the result of the collective efforts of students, teachers and families who have worked together to support each individual's success.
BIS Hanoi Class of 2026 has also received offers from an impressive range of leading universities around the world, including Yale University, the University of Cambridge, University College London (UCL), the University of Melbourne, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and KAIST, among many others. Alongside offers from top academic institutions, students have received places at prestigious specialist universities such as Berklee College of Music in the United States and University of the Arts London (UAL) in the United Kingdom. Whether pursuing futures in philosophy, engineering, business and science, or specialist fields such as music, performing arts and the creative industries, BIS Hanoi students are empowered to explore their passions, develop their talents and pursue the pathways that best align with their aspirations.
As our graduates prepare to take their next steps, they do so with the knowledge, confidence and global perspective to thrive wherever their ambitions lead them. The entire BIS Hanoi community congratulates the Class of 2026 on their remarkable achievements and looks forward to following their continued success in the years ahead.
