This unit is very much focussed on Design Technology (DT) and as part of the process they are expected to design, create and then evaluate their finished fairground ride. As an introduction to this process, Year 6 were asked to design, and then create, their ‘Dream School’ in which they were allowed to incorporate any features they believed would improve school life for all who learn and work in their new institution. The finished products were incredible and show just how much effort and time the pupils here at AP1 put into tasks given to them. Although it was an optional activity, the response was fabulous. The models are currently on display on the first floor of the MP3 building and all are welcome to come in and have a look at what our budding architects and designers have produced.

Earlier this year, we witnessed a moving reminder of this journey, as eighteen members of our Year 13 Class of 2025 returned to the place where it all began: Early Years Foundation Stages.
